PART 9: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL League Two-Matchday 25-Tuesday 27th December 2016
GRIMSBY TOWN (O.Bogle) 2 def. Crewe Alexandra 0
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,439

Ty Stedman-"There was some pressure coming into today. A festive fixture, a big crowd, up against a team who isn't travelling great at the moment and looking for eight-straight league wins. We beat Crewe fairly well last time out earlier this month but they were tougher today. Omar's double got the job done though and it's pleasing to see a big crowd rewarded."

EFL League Two-Matchday 26-Saturday 31st December 2016
Cheltenham Town 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (C.Disley) 1
Whaddon Road
Crowd: 3,055

Ty Stedman-"There was a bit of pressure on us today. Cheltenham finished top of the Conference last season but we beat them a few weeks back so they were fired up to get a result. We had a few outs as well and the ones that filled in did got the job done. We've got a game on Tuesday against Wycombe so there's not much time to enjoy the New Year period. It's back to business for us as this time of the season is really make or break."

EFL League Two-Matchday 27-Tuesday 3rd January 2017
GRIMSBY TOWN (T.Bolarinwa) 1 def. Wycombe Wanderers 0
Blundell Park
Crowd: 7,980

Ty Stedman-"First of all, Happy New Year to our fans and of course you media personnel. We had winning on our mind today as we looked for ten-straight and through hell and high water, we got the job done. Wycombe battled hard and made it very tough for us. Tom Bolarinwa grabbed a fairly lucky goal and we got the win. On a different day, we could have lost. It was a very tight match."

The Emirates FA Cup-Round 3-Saturday 7th January 2017
Norwich City 0 drew. Grimsby Town 0
Carrow Road
Crowd: 15,344

Ty Stedman-"This was a massive day for us as a team and as a club. By far the biggest crowd we've played in front of this season and a team that is full of Premier League experience. We took it to them and were arguably unlucky not to leave with a win. We're delighted to take this to a replay and try and sell out Blundell Park for the next clash. To match it with Norwich is a big tick towards what we're aiming to achieve."
