PART 40: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL Championship-Matchday 29-Tuesday 29th January 2019
Leeds United 0 drew. Grimsby Town 0
Elland Road
Crowd: 14,121

Ty Stedman-"We knew we'd be in for a test tonight. Leeds are in a slump and have lost a lot of games this season by close margins, including to us a few weeks back. They're trying to stay out of the relegation zone and they really gave us a solid defensive unit that we were just unable to break down. It was one of the more frustrating nights I've had on the sidelines."

The Emirates FA Cup-Round 4-Saturday 2nd February 2019
Middlesbrough (G.Ramirez) 1 drew. Grimsby Town (B.Fornaroli) 1
Riverside Stadium
Crowd: 29,235

Ty Stedman-"It's mixed feelings for me this afternoon. We fell to pieces for their first goal. Giving Gaston Ramirez that much room on the edge of the box was always going to end badly. But credit to us, we stuck in there and really pushed for that equaliser. It finally came with Bruno Fornaroli scoring his first goal in Grimsby colours and we'll be delighted to see Middlesbrough back at Blundell Park in two weeks."

EFL Championship-Matchday 30-Tuesday 6th February 2019
GRIMSBY TOWN (T.Buhagiar) 1 def. Brighton & Hove Albion 0
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,408

Ty Stedman-"We had a lot of belief going into this after the late draw with Middlesbrough on the weekend. Brighton are a quality side so to not only grab a goal against them but hold on to a clean sheet shows we're on the up. Our fans have been supportive and show up to these midweek games in drove. We're in a great spot at the moment but winning form is hard to keep."

EFL Championship-Matchday 31-Saturday 9th February 2019
Fulham 0 drew. Grimsby Town 0
Craven Cottage
Crowd: 17,587

Ty Stedman-"They tell me 8.2% of games end nil-all, I'd say for us it's about double maybe triple that. We just have a habit. Defensively we are superb and it's the reason we sit in third place but attacking wise, our finishing standard is just not there at the moment. We rested our whole squad for the Middlesbrough replay coming up but excuses aside, we want to win every game."
