PART 37: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL Championship-Matchday 18-Saturday 1st December 2018
Grimsby Town (M.Thuram) 1 drew. Derby County (C.Christie) 1
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,908

Ty Stedman-"I'm not going to lie, it's disappointing to drop points once again on our home turf. We had an early lead as well before they scored a header off the corner. It's not good enough to be conceding goals in that manner when communication is one of our focus points. We've got Brighton away next so it doesn't get any easier."

EFL Championship-Matchday 19-Saturday 8th December 2018
Brighton & Hove Albion 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (O.Bogle & J.Wilson) 2
The AMEX Stadium
Crowd: 27,348

Ty Stedman-"This is one of the longer away trips we have this season and to come out of it against a quality opposition with all three points is brilliant. We played to our plan today and came away with a big win which breaks a run of draws lately. It does a lot for the confidence of the side to win in front of a big hostile crowd like today."

EFL Championship-Matchday 20-Saturday 15th December 2018
GRIMSBY TOWN (S.Davies) 1 def. Leeds United 0
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,876

Ty Stedman-"Leeds are struggling at the moment down near the relegation zone which doesn't reflect their quality on the park. They really tested us today and that was arguably the toughest three points we've had to grind out in a while. The Christmas period coming up is really going to test our depth and quality so these three points are vital."

EFL Championship-Matchday 21-Tuesday 20th December 2018
IPSWICH TOWN (G.Ward, L.Williams & F.Sears) 3 def. Grimsby Town 0
Portman Road
Crowd: 18,930

Ty Stedman-"I can't put too many positives on tonight. Yes we had a short-break from our last game but so did Ipswich and they just had it all over us. We had a similar result against MK Dons last season in the cup and it's not the fact that we lost by three goals, it's how we bounce back from it. I can't hide my disappointment though."
