PART 23: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL League One-Matchday 22-Wednesday 20th December 2017
Notts County 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (T.Buhagiar) 1
Meadow Lane
Crowd: 5,467

Ty Stedman-"It was a tough night for us. Notts County are a quality side and it's shown by the fact that they're competing with us for 2nd spot on the table. We both got promoted and we're both in many people's eyes overachieving. Every week we're proving the doubters wrong and tonight is no different."

EFL League One-Matchday 23-Saturday 23rd December 2017
Grimsby Town 0 def by. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (R.Van La Parra & C.Payne) 2
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,869

Ty Stedman-"We can't complain too much as we knew it was coming but the scheduling over the festive period makes it difficult to field a squad that is up to the challenge. That being said, with the players we put out today, we should have done a better job in front of our home fans. It's disappointing and the penalty right at the end was really poor to give away."

EFL League One-Matchday 24-Tuesday 26th December 2017
Bristol Rovers 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (L.Rose x2 & M.Thuram) 3
Memorial Stadium
Crowd: 8,203

Ty Stedman-"After the loss three nights ago and the fact that we didn't train in that time, I'm delighted with our victory tonight. Rovers beat us at our ground earlier this season but tonight we really showed our worth. Liam Rose scored two cracking goals which is rare for him being a holding midfielder. We're happy to provide our supporters with a gift of three points for Christmas."

EFL League One-Matchday 25-Friday 29th December 2017
GRIMSBY TOWN (T.Buhagiar x2) 2 def. Rotherham United 0
Blundell Park
Crowd: 9,012

Ty Stedman-"Wow I'm not even sure what to say after that. A true backs against the wall performance against the league leaders. We were forced to promote two of our youth players who both made debuts, we had fatigued players all over the park but we produced the goods and won it. At this stage, it's probably a good time to say that we're serious about our promotion hopes."
