PART 12: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL League Two-Matchday 35-Saturday 4th March 2017
Grimsby Town (A.Chambers) 1 drew. Crawley Town (J.Collins) 1
Blundell Park
Crowd: 7,657

Ty Stedman-"Today really showed what we've missed with Ashley Chambers being out injured. He's been a welcome addition to the squad over the last couple of games. We're disappointed to drop points at home. James Collins scored against us again after scoring the winner for them last time. Credit to Crawley, they play a good brand of attacking football. It's frustrating but we have a big match against Mansfield to focus on now."

EFL League Two-Matchday 36-Tuesday 7th March 2017
Grimsby Town (S.Tuton & J.Berrett) 2 drew. Mansfield Town (A.Yussuf) 2
Blundell Park
Crowd: 8,776

Ty Stedman-"Yes we grabbed a late goal to seal a point but I'm hugely disappointed with the way we conceded those goals today. We had all sorts of miscommunication at the back and shot ourselves in the foot. To make those mistakes in such a big match in terms of the race for promotion is horrendous. We have to look at our defending if we want to make that jump to League One."

EFL League Two-Matchday 37-Sunday 19th March 2017
Leyton Orient 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (A.Boyce & T.Buhagiar) 2
Brisbane Road
Crowd: 5,380

Ty Stedman-"We set out with a added mindset about not letting in sloppy goals or even chances at goal. We closed Orient down for the most part and did enough in attack to win it. Andrew Boyce's headers have been vital for us and Trent grabbed another goal to stretch his lead in the Golden Boot. All round a much better day for us and we're pleased with the result."

EFL League Two-Matchday 38-Wednesday 22nd March 2017
Barnet 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (L.Summerfield) 1
The Hive Stadium
Crowd: 1,292

Ty Stedman-"It was a very unique night for us. We had to play our reserve team due to fatigue from a heavy workload lately and with respect to Barnet, the crowd numbers were fairly low due to the weather. Credit to them though. They're coming last and look destined for the Conference but they put up a great fight and it's a nice ground to come to. Luke Summerfield was enormous for us today and was by far our Man of the Match."
