PART 11: Grimsby Career Mode-FIFA 17

EFL League Two-Matchday 31-Saturday 11th February 2017
Hartlepool United 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (D.Collins) 1
Victoria Park
Crowd: 3,846

Ty Stedman-"We've been in some great form as of late and we've managed to keep a lot of teams at bay. Our defensive line has been solid for a while now and it's really helping those players further forward to build some confidence. Danny Collins grabbed a headed goal and was our Man of the Match which for a centre back is a great day at the office when you include the clean sheet."

EFL League Two-Matchday 32-Saturday 18th February 2017
COLCHESTER UNITED (D.Johnstone & K.Guthrie) 2 def. Grimsby Town (O.Bogle) 1
Colchester Community Stadium
Crowd: 4,104

Ty Stedman-"It's disappointing to lose a game anytime but there's added emotion when the team plays a quality game but goes down to a late winner. We came very close to going 2-1 up but Colchester spun us around and put one past us on the counter. That's football and it's a blip on our radar. We're on track and we'll put this behind us quickly."

EFL League Two-Matchday 33-Tuesday 21st February 2017
Grimsby Town (T.Buhagiar) 1 drew. Blackpool (M.Yeates) 1
Blundell Park
Crowd: 7,892

Ty Stedman-"We were delighted to welcome Ashley Chambers back after three or four months out with injury. He had a quality game but gave away the free-kick that led to their goal. That being said, we should have defended it better. Fortunately we levelled fairly quickly but it wasn't enough. Considering we beat Blackpool 3-0 at their ground, it's a slight disappointment to only come away with a point tonight."

EFL League Two-Matchday 34-Saturday 25th February 2017
Newport County 0 def by. GRIMSBY TOWN (O.Bogle) 1
Rodney Parade
Crowd: 2,453

Ty Stedman-"Newport to their credit are a better side than their position suggests. They've tested us both games and we had to work for the three points today. It was the smallest crowd we've played in front of this season but one of the loudest. A nice little ground with lots of noise is often hard to overcome but we did well."
