People thought Wellington's licence troubles could play a part on their team and the on-field performance but the Nix are keeping things together and would no doubt be delighted after drawing their biggest ever regular-season crowd (excluding their debut A-League match) last Friday night against Adelaide United. Away form is something they need to work on and it could start at Parramatta this afternoon.
The Wanderers took 16 weeks to win a domestic game last season and it came at home to Wellington Phoenix. The game, played at Penrith was the first of only a few wins in the A-League last season for Tony Popovic's side. Wellington come to Pirtek Stadium with confidence after last week's win over Adelaide.
The Wanderers deserve to be the favourites. They've won three on the trot and it wouldn't come as a surprise to many to see them continue that form in front of their passionate home fans.
