It's currently a scorcher in the Western Australian capital and it could very well play into Perth Glory's favour. Sydney FC's 4-2 loss to Melbourne Victory last weekend was a thriller for the neutral but a real worry for Graham Arnold and his team. They need to build some form and a trip to Perth probably isn't the most prefered fixture this week for the Sky Blues.
Glory's start to the season has been far from what Kenny Lowe would have been aiming for and with five losses from six starts, they too need a win to regain both confidence and build some form. It's a crucial game for both sides but with searing heat, defending will be key in what will most likely be a low-scoring affair.
The Sky Blues have a splendid away record and they'll be looking to continue that at nib Stadium.
