MATCH PREVIEW: Melbourne Victory v Central Coast Mariners

It seems like a bit of a mismatch as a slightly out-of-form Mariners outfit travel to a hostile AAMI Park to take on the unstoppable defending champions Melbourne Victory. Kevin Muscat's men were superb against Sydney FC last week, winning 4-2 at Allianz Stadium and with the Mariners' defence being one of their weaker points this season it could be yet another high-scoring game.

Central Coast were hindered by the sending-off of Jake McGing for his brainsnap sliding challenge on Newcastle's Leonardo. The youngster is out, suspended, for this game and it was due to his sending off that the Mariners didn't leave Hunter Stadium with all three points. The home side were average on the night and it was a game neither side deserved to win.

The Mariners will likely play a high-attacking brand of football once again which will leave them open to the counter-attacking football that Victory is known for. This will be a topsy-turvy game; an attacking game and it should be a win for a quality Melbourne Victory side.

Newysports' Panel Tips:
Ty Stedman: Victory 3-1
Alex Evans: Draw 0-0
Keegan Pulik: Victory 3-0
