MATCH PREVIEW: Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory (FFA Cup Final 2015)

Melbourne Victory are searching for an unprecedented treble in Australian football and are heavy favourites at home against a Perth Glory side that are in irregular form to say the least. Glory's start to the A-League season includes one win and three losses; not the start Kenny Lowe would have been hoping for. Their FFA Cup form is quite the opposite and the men from the West have reached a second-straight final.

Glory are seeking their first piece of silverware in the A-League era but it will be an incredibly tough ask against a Victory side that are known for winning trophies. Kevin Muscat's side are in-form and at AAMI Park are very hard to beat. If this game was in Perth it would be a different story but controversially in the eyes of Western Australia, the FFA have scheduled the game in Melbourne.

Long story short, this is a game that neither side will want to lose (it's a cup final after all), but it should be Melbourne Victory who'll come out on top. At home in front of a big crowd, the Victory should be too strong for an out-of-sorts Glory outfit.

Newysports Panel Tips:
Ty Stedman: Melbourne Victory 2-1
Alex Evans: Melbourne Victory 2-1 after Extra Time
Keegan Pulik: Melbourne Victory 3-1
