MATCH PREVIEW: Central Coast v Wellington

The entertainers will be at it again today as the Central Coast Mariners host the Wellington Phoenix at Central Coast Stadium. With rain abouts and no doubt a damp Gosford pitch, it could very well be a game where one goal decides it. Both teams are known for their attacking flair and it promises to be a crucial match for both as they look to return to the winners' circle.

Tony Walmsley's side have lived up to their promise of delivering entertaining matches but they'll want improvement and they'll want to beat a Wellington side that aren't in the greatest of form at the moment. The Phoenix will be depleted with the thought of possible A-League exit constantly hanging over their heads and they'll no doubt want to let the football do the talking.

As mentioned, both sides have a strong attacking style but it's the Wellington defensive unit that may very well get them over the line. It's a cold and wet day on the coast and there's no better conditions in the eyes of the Wellington players.

Newysports Panel Tips:
Ty Stedman: Wellington 2-1
Alex Evans: Wellington 2-1
Keegan Pulik: Wellington 1-0
