MATCH PREVIEW: Brisbane Roar v Melbourne City

Tonight is going to revolve around one man and it's not one on the pitch. John Aloisi returned to top-level coaching this season and has proven his doubters wrong. Brisbane Roar are flying high and now the former Socceroo will take on his former side Melbourne City at Suncorp Stadium. It's a chance for Aloisi's men to jump Melbourne Victory into top spot with a win.

Melbourne City's season has been a topsy-turvy one so far and has also revolved around one man and one man only, Aaron Mooy. The Socceroo was out last week and City's midfield lacked as a result. Their defending was average in a 3-0 loss to Western Sydney at AAMI Park. Mooy returns this week but after starring for the national team on Tuesday night, will he have enough fitness to get through tonight's game.

Roar have won four from six this season but more importantly, they are three from three at Suncorp Stadium. It's crucial for teams to build their home ground into a fortress and it wouldn't be a surprise for many to see Brisbane do just that. City will bring the fight but Brisbane's confidence is up at the moment and the likes of Broich, Corona and Borrello will be looking to fire home for another win.

Newysports' Panel Tips:
