REVIEW: Kahibah v West Wallsend 17's and 19's

Under 19's: Kahibah 3 def. West Wallsend 1

Kahibah's 19's picked up a big win tonight, seeing off an out of form West Wallsend side 3-1. The Bluebells haven't faced the best week, losing three straight in the course of seven days and will now be looking over their shoulders with Kahibah just a point below on the league table. The Green and Blacks still have some work to do to make the top four though.

Under 17's: Kahibah 4 def. West Wallsend 2

On paper this looks a bad defeat but credit goes to West Wallsend for putting two past the best defensive team in the competition, in fact those two goals has seen Kahibah lost their least goals conceded record to top of the table Lakes. As I've mentioned a couple of times, I thought Westy's 17's had one or two decent attackers in the game I saw them play.

At the end of the night though this is another big win for a Kahibah side that jump Cooks Hill into second place with the victory. For what it's worth I think the top four in the 17's will remain the same in the finals. Westy have a bit of ground to make up in the next couple of weeks.

*Just a reminder that for the latest New-FM results and ladders, keep on visiting Newysports.com. I constantly aim to have the results and ladders updated in the hours after each match.

To help this process, always feel free to message through scores on the Newysports Facebook page or by email. A lot of people are jumping on board with this and I'm getting the New-FM stuff updated quicker than the lower grades of NPL. Thanks to those who send through results every week, it's a big help!
