REVIEW: Kahibah v Lakes 17s/19s

Under 17's: Kahibah 1 def by. Lake Macquarie City 2

I've been told this was a highly entertaining match between two evenly matched sides. I've also been told it could have gone either way but it was Lakes who grabbed all three points and kept their impressive winning streak alive. Not the best night for Kahibah's side but they'll bounce back and they've still got the lowest goal conceded column in the whole New-FM competition.

The return leg will be interesting as it will come when both sides will be gunning for the finals but for now Lakes remain unbeaten and could be six points clear at the top if they can see off Wallsend on Sunday morning.

Under 19's: Kahibah 1 def by. Lake Macquarie City 3

Guess who picked the correct score in this match! Kahibah's 19's were always going to find it tough against a Lakes side that have lost just once this season. The visitors were just that bit too classy for the Green and Blacks and with the 3-1 victory now jump Cooks Hill into 3rd position.

It doesn't get any easier for Kahibah's 19's as they now have to face unbeaten Belmont-Swansea on Sunday whilst Lakes will like their chances against Wallsend, also on Sunday.

The updated ladders are as followed:
