Credit to the groundstaff who managed to get this round to go ahead. Newcastle City's home match was moved to Bateau Bay as No 1. Sportsground was of course closed by Newcastle council.

The Cardiff Hawks were unable to grab their first win of the season, going down to Nelson Bay 73-56. The Hawks remain without a win after three games and will be aiming to turn it around next week against Newcastle City.

Warners Bay hosted Terrigal-Avoca in what was a very low scoring affair at Feighan Oval. No doubt the wet weather would have played it's part on this game and made it difficult for both sides but it was the Panthers who kept their spot on top of the ladder with a five goal victory.

Finally, Newcastle City's strong start to the season was halted by a Killarney Vale Bombers side that made it two from two and kept touch with the top of the table in a 16 point victory.

P.S, the scores might not be totally correct as I was struggling to find them and verify them as correct.
