Performance of the Week:
(Brisbane 44-22 NQ Cowboys)

Despite taking their foot off the pedal in the second half, the Broncos were unstoppable against the Cowboys. They could and should have scored more than 50 and proved that they are still a threat for the top four. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but they looked the goods on Friday night.

It's the opposite story for the Cowboys who are now zero from three and in dire need of a win against the Storm next week.

Manly Not Good Enough In Tight Dogs Win:
(Manly-Warringah 12-16 Canterbury-Bankstown)

Friday night's main game in NSW wasn't the most entertaining match-up you'll ever see but it was a good display from both sides on a horror Brookvale Oval pitch. I'm a Manly fan who's been to Brookie a lot and I've never seen it look so bad. Questions need to be answered by the Warringah council.

Canterbury got over the line at the end of the night with only conversions seperating the two sides. Jamie Lyon isn't the world's best goalkicker but he is by far the best at Manly. Manly have something to look forward to when Lyon returns along with Kieran Foran. Canterbury however need to step it up a little bit if they're to match it with the top four sides.

South Sydney Outperform Tigers In Fiery ANZ Stadiun Clash:
(South Sydney 20-6 Wests Tigers)

I only caught the back end of this game but I was impressed with the physicality of both teams. There were a few little niggles between Martin Taupau and Isaac Luke and Keith Galloway almost got into a biff as well. The Tigers showed some good signs but were outclassed at the end of the day.
