Performance Of The Week:

As much as I'd love to call Penrith's 40-0 win my performance of the week I just can't go past the Rabbitohs. They were ahead against the Roosters and went behind but came storming back in some style. They simply cannot lose at the moment and I for one wouldn't be surprised to see them go back-to-back.

It pains me as a Manly fan to say it but Glenn Stewart is on fire at the moment and with GI at the back and Reynolds and Keary in form as well the Rabbitohs could go undefeated for a while. At the moment it's hard to see them getting beaten.

Pink Panthers Pounce:

Penrith put the Titans to the sword at a packed Carrington Park in Bathurst as they put on a spectacular second half display to run out with a whopping 40-0 win. This wasn't even the Panthers on their best day so it's quiet scary to think they could be better. Whether or not they can match it against the Roosters or Rabbitohs remains to be seen for this season but they were impressive on Saturday.

Manly Overcome The Odds:

It was great to see the Sea Eagles return to a packed Brookvale and pull off a gutsy win over their rivals from down south. Yes I'll admit it was lucky and the refereeing decisions cost Melbourne in the end but Manly's performance can't be underestimated. Seeing Geoff Toovey bring the boys together at the end of the match was very pleasing.
